“THE ENGLISH SPEAKING” club at MUST

“The English Speaking” club has been running its activity under English Language Department at MUST since 2017. The club runs under the guidance of the English Language Department of MUST- and American faculty members, as well as through Public Affairs Section of the USA Embassy. As part of this partnership, American guest lecturers give many interesting lectures, talks, and discussions to our club’s student members about American culture, art, history, and technological advancement.

In 2020, the School of Foreign Languages, in partnership with the US Embassy opened an “Innovative Modern American English Classroom” that allows students to spend their free time reading books and brochures in English, watching videos, movies, and accessing a variety of news and information from online sources. The classroom is an environment where you can develop all your English skills. In addition, the classroom is a great place for students to develop themselves, share what they have learned with their peers, teach, and spend their free time professionally and productively.

As a result, the club expanded its membership to include students studying S. CE102, S. EST210, S. EBM210, and S. ESP310 during this semester.

In the future, we are exploring the possibility of providing students with the latest movies in HD, online video tutorials, e-books in English, and word memorization tips.
