RESEARCH
  In the first years of establishing the School of Foreign Languages, it focused on training teachers with academic degrees and titles, determining the main research and development directions, and taking its place at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology and other scientific institutions of Mongolia.
  This work was organized by Professor Tsedendamba (Sc.D), a, who worked as the head of the Russian language department and was able to create an academic discipline of native language and foreign language studies at the science, and technology university with its characteristics.
At that time, he was able to gain rich experience in the theory and application of teaching foreign languages, especially Russian, so at the beginning, the priority was to create and publish various textbooks, dictionaries, and manuals, and to use the latest scientific and technical achievements in teaching.
  Since 1999, the school has started to provide post-diploma education, Master's degree, and Doctorate training for linguistics specialists, and it has played a significant role in the school's transformation from an educational institution to an independent school with academic orientation and research.
  A master plan for the development of research and analysis in 2008-2015 has been developed, and the research work of professors, teachers, master's and doctoral students should be adapted to the modern trends of linguistics, specifically in "Technical and technological terminology" within the framework of applied or applied linguistics. focused on creating an electronic database of terminology and vocabulary of the native language, and now we are conducting research in the main areas of technical and technological terminology, technical and technological translation studies, comparative linguistics, and foreign language teaching methodology.
